This French TV spot is extremely well done. It makes you stop and think...
The loose translation for the text at the end is...
"A day at work doesn't look like this. What about a day at school?"
Give it a watch.
The fine folks at Hammacher Schlemmer have this motorized R2D2 that follows voice commands and can navigate rooms and hallways. Even dances to the Cantina theme. Have you been a good boy or girl? Only $200 if Santa doesn't bring you one! That's a steal. Even by Jawa standards. Click here for more info from Hammacher Schlemmer.
Metallica performed in a makeshift dome and about 100 hardcore fans looked on as the concert was pumped into their headphones. No speakers or amps were used to lessen the environmental impact on the location. Solar panels helped provide power. The show took place in Antarctica and now Metallica holds the World's Record for having performed on all 7 continents in less than a year. Why do they get to have all the fun?
I have high hopes for this one. I had high hopes for the last one. I knew casting Matthew Broderick was a horrendous idea... but that movie took horrendous to a whole new level of horrendousness. This one has Bryan Cranston (ya know, Walter White from Breaking Bad) so its already light years ahead of the competition.
From what I hear the officer resigned after the video went public. What a drag!
Alright ladies... are you Quiche? This video will explain...
Think, believe and say what you want... but this is funny! And I feel a little more enlightened for watching it.

Bret Michaels is an entreprenuer if nothing else. Almost KISS-esque with his never ending supply of stuff to buy. Now comes a cologne that you can pre-order. It's called 'Thorns & Roses' or 'Roses & Thorns' depending on which marketing tool you're looking at. With the top notch graphic above and the high brow video below you can be assured that this stuff is no cheap knockoff. Order yours here! Or not.

American Horror Story has been picked up for a fourth season. Overall I guess that's great news. I gotta admit that this season has been my least favorite. I was gonna pull the plug on it last week... but I watched it anyway. That may have been the "turn the corner" episode. I seem to recall that it's always taken 3 or 4 episodes for me to really get into it and last week's delivered. In case you're not hip to the trip each season features a completely new storyline although many of the actors remain the same. Each year they play totally different characters and the seasons have nothing to do with each other. There seems to be some confusion as to whether this is Jessica Lange's last season or if it will be next year. Catch it Wednesday nights at 10 on FX.
