Zombies are all the rage these days. ZomComs (zombie comedies) really took off with Shaun Of The Dead. The story of a couple of total losers who only aspire to hang out at the local pub (not a bad career goal) and try to survive a zombie epidemic. Some would go so far as to call it a 'romantic comedy'. I wouldn't but if thats what it takes to get your old lady to watch then that's fine.

Simon Pegg stars in the flick and also wrote it. His sidekick is Ed played by Nick Frost who threatens to steal the show. Even though the title is a play on 'Dawn Of The Dead' it's not a spoof of that movie. There's laughs, shocks and blood. Great combo.
