Still love this movie. I remember seeing it in a theater on vacation in Chicago. Jamie Gertz was looking super hot and the cast certainly contained a variety of actors that would attain fame and fortune (and failure) for various reasons. Keifer Sutherland and the 2 Coreys make their presence known and would follow different career paths. Of course the chicks drooled over star Jason Patrick. I thought he was the coolest too. Not because he was hot but because his dad played Father Damien Karras in the 'Exorcist'... the greatest horror move ever!

The movie revolves around a family that moves to Santa Carla, California which just happens to be a haven for vampires. Michael and Sam wanna fit in... just like any other alienated teens. This means joining the local vampire cult and of course horror and hilarity ensue. I actually still groove on the soundtrack to this movie and bust it out from time to time. Maybe tonight? They did a nice dvd re-release on this recently and even the Blu Ray is cheap... so pick it up if you don't already have a copy and enjoy The Lost Boys. Enjoy the abbreviated movie as a music video for the kick ass/cheesy track 'Cry Little Sister'.
