Reports are flooding in that Richie Sambora has quit the current Bon Jovi tour. Some websites are reporting that he's quit the band but we're not so sure about that. Richie has battled substance abuse problems in the past but there is no current indication that that is the issue. Here is the official statement from the Bon Jovi website...

Every band/artist swears their live releases are really recorded live. Then they often admit much later that there might have been a few cosmetic overdubs and that no 'live' album is totally live. Give this video a watch and tell me if you think this has been 'fixed' in the studio. Oddly enough the camera is never on him during the vocal highpoints of the song. David Lee Roth was on the Australian version of the Today Show. The host asks him if he was bothered when he was replaced by Sammy Hagar. Dave's answer is kinda surprising considering all the mudslinging that went on back in the day. Do you believe him? I don't.
