Ok, quick rundown on me: baseball, beers, some good grubbing in the form of pizza / wings / burritos, that's a perfect evening. I'm a Twitter / Facebook obsessive, I drive way too fast and I love to have a good time and not stress about anything. Life's just too short for that nonsense, especially when there's good times to be had.
You can catch my sweet sounds on The Brew Saturdays and Sundays from 3p-9p and whenever someone calls out hungover!
NASA just announced that Captain Scott Kelly will be a part of their longest manned mission ever! In 2015 he’s going to the International Space Station for a full year.
It will be Captain Kelly and cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko, going 365 days to do experiments, repairs, upkeep, and anything else needed to keep the International Space Station running smoothly for years to come.
Could you do it? Sacrifice a year of your life for your job? It’s a great honor to be an astronaut, but would you be willing to make the sacrifice for an entire year? I’m not sure if I could. There’s no privacy, there’s no social contact with other humans, just you and the cosmonaut and the thin tubes of the Space Station for 12 months.
Can we at least get us a tv so we don’t miss the Super Bowl? Something?!
