A new report from Public Policy Polling says that the majority of people believe Santa Claus is a Democrat. 44% think he votes blue while 28% are certain that the Fat Man is a Republican.

I think this year was it, this was the one that drove people to insanity where a poll was needed to see what political affiliation St. Nick is.

Santa is neither a Democrat nor a Republican, he's a guy who loves going out and making people feel good, not arguing with the other side and believing he isn't part of the problem when really he is. Santa doesn't hold up goverment operations because he can't agree with other people that compromise is the best solution. And here's the main reason Santa isn't a Democrat or a Republican: on Christmas night, Santa gets all of the toys delivered, he doesn't say he's going on vacation or give a ridiculously long speech to bore everyone to death and not do his job. Santa takes care of business, and that proves he isn't involved in politics.
