Ok, quick rundown on me: baseball, beers, some good grubbing in the form of pizza / wings / burritos, that's a perfect evening. I'm a Twitter / Facebook obsessive, I drive way too fast and I love to have a good time and not stress about anything. Life's just too short for that nonsense, especially when there's good times to be had.
You can catch my sweet sounds on The Brew Saturdays and Sundays from 3p-9p and whenever someone calls out hungover!
The FAA is taking a stand: pilots need to stop using personal electronic devices while controlling a plane. Distracted flying is apparently a problem with pilots using phones, tablets, laptops, Blackberrys, you name it, they're doing it.
First off, I'd like to know how they are getting phone reception that high. Calling anybody from a plane doesn't work. What's the secret, Captain?
Secondly, why is this ban just starting now? The very first time a cell phone or a laptop was in someone's hand, the FAA should have made using them while flying a no-no. There could be hundreds of people on a plane that you are putting at risk, but you're sending a text message, a nice LOL! to someone? That can probably wait until you get on the ground.
One more thing:
How is it that when a 12 ounce beer gets on your little carts the price doubles from that of a bar? Let's look into that one too, FAA.
